that board is first generation i7 board and lga 1366. the 3820 is a 2nd gen extreme cpu for socket lga 2011. Would need a new board and prob a power supply to power a extreme i7, if anything get an lga 1155 board and a i5 3570k or i7 3770k or non k editions. LGA 1155 has the i7 and i5 cpus with the labeling 2xxx and 3xxx beside the 3820/3690k/3960x/3970x i7s
