Here are my specs
cpu: core i5 2400
gpu: sapphire hd 7770 OC
Ram: 8 GB
motherboard: ga-h77-ds3h
psu: gigabyte superb e720
monitor resolution: 1280x1024 samsung LCD
well i m not planning on OCing any component and also sticking with low resolution monitor..(if i m goin to change it.. i will go with a 19 inch LED with a resolution of 1366x768) i thinking of buyin a HD 8000 series GPU preferably the HD 8850 at the end of this year.. probably december or during the first week of Jan 2014. want to play games like watch dogs and crysis 3 on atleast high settings
Now my question is whether my CPU will bottleneck. I m saving up and probably will have a tight budget. Only want to change the GPU. i know haswell is coming up soon, '3rd gen core i7' series may get their current price reduced. but if i invest my money on a CPU i wont be able to upgrade my GPU...
Just need a bit of information. Will it be a good idea to change my graphics card or will it be a waste. Forgive me if i m being silly. do not know that much about hardware
