win 7 partition drive specific [first time]

hey guys, installing windows 7 on my new computer never done this before but im on the partition part..

I want to divide my 1TB into 3 parts

200GB - OS/Programs
120GB - Projects/Kits
680GB - Data/Music/Pictures etc.


what do I do? right now it shows

"Disk 0 Unallocated Space - 931.5GB"

do I click on 'new' and keep making the drives as stated above by putting hte amount of 'MB' and hten choose the drive i want for OS and click next?

Yes, that's exactly how you'd do that. However, I wouldn't recommend it. Partitions are very, very painful to change in the future, and chances are you can't perfectly predict your data usage. I know I can't.

Partitioning also offers little benefit. You can accomplish all the same things with folders, including size limits. Partitioning can reduce fragmentation somewhat, but so does defragmenting.
