Hi, I overclocked my Intel i7-3770k to 4.0 Ghz, and got around high 50s, to 60 degree Celsius max. will this harm my cpu? got a sabertooth z77 mobo, corsair h100i water cooler.

I'm not an overclocker just yet, But from what I do know, Those temps are safe. Anything above 65c is when you should start being worried. Also, what program are you using to measure temps? It's important to get an accurate reading.

*edit* I forgot, I OC my GPU. Lol.

i overclock everything... and those temps are right on par with the OC you did. your fine.
generally i like to keep temps to 67c and below. though i did intentionally run one CPU hot as a long running experiment. upper 70C and occasional low-mid 80c under full load..not something i would recommend for the record unless you have money to burn. point is this cpu has always been clocked that high and for three years...still runs like a champ! so fyi!

Seems pretty normal. Currently I have my i5-3570K @ 4.5GHz with my H100i and it only ever hits 90 Celsius when doing certain workloads with Prime95. Normally I never see my temps go higher than 70 Celsius when gaming in a 20C room.
