It usually happens when I play games but once in a while it just happen. It would go black screen with a buzz sound, a hang alike sound. Sometimes, it just restart and stay like that. The games that I play when it happen were Mass Effect 3 and recently it happens to Need For Speed Most Wanted from the beginning of the game.

try to set memory to 1333 and disable overclock to cpu ,update mobo drivers(sound,chipset...) and gpu drivers(use beta if exist). Check the system Hdd sata cable or try another. Also check if there is a firmware update for your GPU.
if problem persist run memtest86,prime and furmark to check stability of the memory,cpu and gpu

it appears that the error occurs on 3d intensive games hmm. First do the easy part go to nvidia type your graphics card name(in the search box) and download thew new drivers from your card do the same for your motherboard goto Asus...
