Hello all,

Wondering if anyone can help here. I have an issue with a cit white mars case. I am having an issue where the front LCD display shows -- °C for the temp and the Fan graphic is static. I have placed the temp sensor into the heat sink fins, as is on my other rig. However I cant get a reading. I'm sure all the fan cables are hooked up correctly also but the image wont budge. The HDD image is moving fine. Is this likely a fault with the LCD or my wiring in case of the controller and a broken thermal sensor in case of the temp. I can obviously re-look at the wiring and can get another thermal sensor if required. But I'm not sure where to find a display should it need replacing.

Thank you for any assistance.

Hold the sensor between your finger and thumb, bodyheat should alter the reading enough to show, if that doesn't work then check its plugged in the correct palce etc, and possibly the manual has a troubleshooter?

Hi Moto, Thanks for the reply.

I tried to pinch the sensor and it got no response. The case manual is really nothing more than a small 4 page leaflet stating what the case contains nothing about any config. Could source anything online. I can trace it back and it looks to be connected fine. There is actually a small kink in the orange paper, hidden just under the black cover at the very end. Without cutting it open its hard to tell but there is a possibility a break has occurred down there somewhere if i'm getting a -- reading. I'm happy enough to buy a new wire to test. But would be good to see if anyone else has seen this or resolved it before. Just in case i'm wasting money :)

Thank you again

Well if you've done the normal troubleshooting steps then I'd contact the manufacturer and politely state my distress :)
They should be willing and able to sort you a new cable/sensor or unit
