My setup is..

core i5 2400 @3.1GHz
motherboard:-intel dh61ww
Display:-1680×1050

my budget is INR 15000 ..i.e around $288

I need a good GPU and a PSU under this price range.i am a casual gamer so i must be able to play all the recent titles at med-high.. definitely not ultra bcuz of my price range...A good GPU that suits my mobo with no bottlenecking.

I suggest a 7870 and a CX430 because it doesn't sound like you are using more than that. You might be able to squeeze in a 7870 XT if you look around. I don't know what sites you use where you live, but that would be around your budget in U.S. Here's the part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Lfs3

Hi,

Forget about it, your cpu is going to bottleneck any gtx 650 card and up on any recent FPS.

a gtx 650 is around 120-135 $ and a good 600 w psu 80 $ +

You need at least 300-500 $ for a good gaming computer

True, forgot to account for bottleneck, sorry didn't expand. Just out of curiosity, how much of an effect would it have?

His i5 will not bottleneck him at all, I would go for a Powercolor 7870 LE and an Antec Neo PSU, puts you around $295

based on your monitor resolution i would say a geforce 660 around $220 or a 7870 for slightly more you can't go wrong with either of the two then Antec Neo Eco 520 powern supply your CPU wont be a bottleneck people still game on sandy bridge pentiums

That i5 will not bottleneck anything anywhere near his max budget.
The Rosewill Stallion is ancient. Some models in that line were found not to suck, but there's nothing to recommend them today.
On a $288 budget, that should fit a good 500W PSU such as anything made by Seasonic (the Corsair "Builders" are NOT), and a HD7850. You may find a deal that will let you get a HD7870, but your stated resolution really won't require it, especially since you have specified that medium-high settings are acceptable. Actually, you would still be able to play in that range if you get a GTX650Ti or possibly even a HD7770.

Either of those cards would be good; I'm not sure which one I'd choose. The Gigabyte model is clocked a little higher, but that shouldn't matter. The Seasonic PSU is nice too, and could handle either of them.

i would go for one 7850 or 7870 to be fully compatible and run games smoothly!

sorry i had to provide an indian shoppe website links..but can u plz say whether my choice is good

and my uncle said that he has a seasonic s12ii 520 watts psu whih he's providing it to me for free

so will it be able to handle the above cards

If you are getting a free PSU, especially a Seasonic, then I would definitely get a PowerColor 7870 LE or Sapphire XT. In case you ever get a better monitor.
