it's not the most optimal way of adding RAM, but it will work none the less. G.skill is good, corsair is good, and a few others are too, but if you're just getting budget RAM, any old RAM with the right speed will do.

look at matching the speed of the new stick with the old stick (measured in Mhz) timings don't really matter as much - they're for performance
