i3 3220+EVGA Geforce GTX 660 and a 500 wat supply

i was wondering if -see title- would this be a problem like? will be CPU run the GPU good and do i have a PSU good enough for it?

Yeah dude, that system would run comfortably on a good 300w PSU.

A 450 watt minimum is required. If your PSU has a 6-pin PCIe connector it is enough to power your system.

Assuming the PSU is a quality unit, yes. If it's a Logisys, Apevia, or Diablotek, then absolutely not.

I had a logisys 550w with that same gpu and cpu. I could boot and it would crash about 30 seconds later. just make sure it is a halfway reputable brand

a good quality 500 watt psu like corsair cx 500 would be enough to power i3+660

Yes that is a good choice for your needs but it is a 125W processor so just make sure that your motherboard can support it. For the power supply, the Corsair CX430/VS450 are good options.

But if it's unlocked like the PII X4 965 then why not? Get as much as you can while keeping the temp under 70C - even with the stock cooler if you want.
