Zalman Z9 Power Button doesn't work!

Hi guys,
I have just recently built a gaming PC (2 days ago) for the first time. Everything is working fine apart from the fact that I can only turn on the PC by flicking the PSU switch on, the power button on the case doesn't do anything. This isn't really a big deal, but I would like to get this to work properly. I'm not sure if specs are necessary, but I'll give them anyway:

GPU - GTX 660ti
CPU - Intel i5 2400
MoBo - Gigabyte XKT 1155 Z68AP D3
RAM - From a HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower
PSU - Corsair 500W
Case - Zalman Z9 plus

check the cables to the mb to see if you have them in the right spots..try hitting your reset button and see if the system turns on. if it does you have your cables wrong. also check that the on switch is plugged in all the way to the mb. some cases have small daughter card in them and the on switch may not be plugged into the daughter card.
