i would go with either a gtx 650 ti or an amd 7850...personally i prefer nvidia do to drivers being more stable and physx support but the 7850 should have higher FPS. really its just a matter of taste.

Hey there amitdad, hope you had a good day today. If you want the most out of your money, I would go for the Gigabyte AMD Radeon 7850 1GB Edition. I would rather save money and get something else, it's up to you what. The reason why I'm recommend the 1GB version is that none of the games out there utilize more than about 700MB of VRAM, and that its just a waste. It's not a waste if you're going to have a monitor with a resolution higher than 1920x1080, or if you're doing a multi monitor setup. If that's the case, go for the 2GB version. If that's not the case, go for the 1GB version and save the money.

so combining it with i5 wil gev me bettr gaming performance or a nvidia gtx 650 amp edition with i5 will gev better performance??

your FPS will vbe higher with a amd 7850 though amd 7000 series have frame latancy issues...which means even at a high frame rate it can still look choppy, though not everyone is affected and patches are coming and some have already arrived. the gtx 650 ti has no frame latancy issues. while the 650 ti night have lower fps it may well look like a smoother frame rate.

not really. those cards don't play nice together. amd 7000 with an amd 7000 or for nvidia you need two same make model gpus.

as for frame latency its been fixed in some games but not others.

well some mobos do allow for intel's hd grpahics to assist a discrete card but honeslty it doesn't work to well. your better off just getting the best discrete card you can afford and depending on it alone.
