Just a quick question- is 6gb ram enough for gaming and other stuff. I am getting a pretty good deal on it so just wanted to ask the community this question.

Thanks in advance.

my bad when you said your were looking at 6 first i assume triple channel, my mistake. i would try these dimms then.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233257 (you'll need two sticks) $33 a stick

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233349 (again you need two sticks) $30 those these sticks have a higher latency then the previous ones. so i would say second choice to the one above

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233335 here's a dual channel kit for ($62) this has the lower latency i mentioned but it is a dual channel set.

My motherboard is an asrock z77 xtreme 4 and until now I did not know that it was a triple channel. :(

Are there any mobos out there that are similar to z77 xtreme4 but have dual channel?

Thanks for your support.

After realizing that my mobo is triple channel, I might go with the 3x2gb ones that u recommended for $52. Thanks.

It was partly my bad as well, I mistake the 3x2gb for 2x3gb, haha.

How does the latency effect the performance?

(Again, don't worry about the mistake. :D )
