not sure what you mean here i'm building a gaming system my ? as is says should go with a differt setup or keep the 1 i got i sent parts back so i'm trying to to decide if should just go with differt set up all i8'm asking os good set up for gaming comp or should change motherboard and cpu

I/we don't know what the problem you had is to diagnose. No info. FPS? Lag? Crashes? Asus is a solid brand. AMD trinity APUs are not horrible. They are certainly not the gold star of gaming performance, but they are not trash. To make a recommendation we need to know your expectations and the problem...

Also have you already returned the parts? Are you starting over? Or working with what you have?

In GENERAL an Intel board, i5 CPU and good dedicated gpu is the high end. But AMD can compete for CPU based on preference. Trinity is not the first choice for AMD though, it just depends on ths user/use case. But it's not a disaster if that's what you have

Ok... What I am still.getting at is you're old hardware should NOT have been bad. And you still aren't saying what the problem was..... Makes it impossible to say any recommendation will fix the "problem"...

Ok, Let me start over here. i had asrock fm2 mother board extreme4-m, asus f2a85-v pro a85 fm2 r mother board and a amd a10-5800k 3.8g 4m fm2 cpu, the asrock the usb port were bad on it, the asus would not boot at all,and i sent all of them back to the place of purchase. Now if anyone has any better suggestions ,please let me know. Also i have 2 different kinds of RAM (that is listed above) , please let me know which to use ,with the motherboard i'm thinking about getting or your suggestions.

As for what i'm using the system for is playing games on and searching the internet, but i want a really good system that will handle any type of game out there. Also trying to do this with about $350 dollar budget.
