Hello, i have a dell latitude d600, i upgraded the driver awhile back, but it just doesn't run very well, i did not uninstall the previous version before i upgraded (i'm not a computer genius and if you have answers towards this dumb it down the best you can XD) But my question is, i play in 3d alot and one game just laggs alot, and i was wondering if by me not uninstalling the previous driver, could it have cause this lag in most of my games (it wasn't lagging much before) or is there a better driver i can install on it to improve the function?

it could...your drivers may have a corruption somewhere now. go into safe mode...then pull up control panel...system and security...device manager and choose display adapters...unistall your graphics cards and make sure you check delete driver box. then reinstall your drivers and they should be fresh.

well now that i've installed a game i used to play, that ran perfectly before, that freezes and lags too now that i dowloaded the upgrade i did, i will though try what u suggested :) and sorry to reply so late, had strep
