when i play any mmorpg game that i downloaded through the internet i start to lag only when i turn. All the response time for my spell works perfectly but its only when i turn i start to lag. When i turn the fps drops down to 5 fps from 60+ fps and get this weird freeze. when i attack standing still everything is at min 75 fps but when i turn and move around while attacking it lags. the only problem with this lag i get is turning and i want to know what might be wrong with my computer and if it could be serious or not.

My specs are:

Intel i5 core 3570k
ASUS GeForce 550 ti
Corsair Vengeance 8GB ram
Thermaltake 750w PSU
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200.12 RPM 34GB

Also this lag only occurs in open world but if i play in dungeons then i get no lag at all and i never tried PvP cause i havent reached a high enough level for it yet.

try turning down the settings. maybe it's the motion blur or something. in dungeons, the graphics is lighter in terms of the amount of details that have to be rendered, like draw distance, lighting (it depends of course but most of the time)

your gpu is not exactly that fast, it is not slow but it's not mid range. so try lowering the setttings and see what happens. turn down motion blur if possible.

That's... uhm, what?

That's like saying I can't run crysis 3 multiplayer with high FPS because my internet is too slow; it's a load of BS.

Yes, if your internet is slow the game is going to be laggy, but it is NOT going to have a low framerate - you're still going to have the same number of frames rendered, but many of them aren't going to have new data to change the information with.

to cons29:

I forgot to mention that i already have tried to lower my settings but the lag is still there but it isn't as bad as high graphics the difference is that the lag happens less intensely but still does the whole thing instead of 0-5 fps i get 0-15 fps when it lags

to ARICH5: so what are u suggesting i should try and idk how to check my isp or test it... i dont even know what isp is. internet speed provider?

also btw could it be a monitor problem to cause i have heard that if the monitor isnt good enough then the gpu wont be able to run its maximum potential. idk what the spec's are for my monitor because my dad brought it in a couple years back all i know is that it is a samsung monitor with 50000:1 dynamic contrast and highest resolution is 1600x800
