xukusari :
I use realTemp to read the temperatures of my cores and GPU and my cores run pretty hot because I'm using an intel stock fan until my new one arrives next week.
My GPU runs at approximately 150 degrees Fahrenheit and I want to know if that's affecting its performance, and if so is there a reliable way to cool it?
GPU temperatures are usually measured in celcius--you'll wanna use that in the future so it's easier for people to help you.
150 degrees f comes out to about 65 degrees c, which is fine for your GPU.
One question I'm curious about is whether it's 65 on idle (just sitting around doing nothing) or at load, when you're playing a game or something.
If it's 65 at load, that's great. If it's 65 at idle, that's a little high, but it won't hurt your GPU as long as it doesn't go over 80 for an extended period at load.
As a point of reference, two of my gpus run around 40, and one around 50 on idle, with all of them around 75-80 at load.
