My LG flatron 19inch lcd tft 1440x900 monitor has died. I tried another lg but 22 inch led 1920x1080 and i couldnt adjust to the text being so small. Even after making windows 7 increase text and icon size, webpages had to be increased in size also creating distortion. Plus i found the screen display smokey looking. All i want is another of what i had. Can you help? Many thanks.
Resolution 1920x1080 and 1440x900 and LCD TFT & LED.

your monitor should be able to handle more than one resolution. what that would be is anybody's guess. look up your monitor or look at the information provided with your monitor.

If you really cannot adjust to 1080p and absolutely do not want to run a lower resolution on your current screen, this is a the 19", 1440x900 version of the 1080p monitor I use. Fantastic color recreation. You will find that this looks far better than your old TFT display.

HOWEVER, I went from a 16" screen at 1366x768 to a 19" at 1440x900 to a 22" at 1080p, then upgraded to a 24". After getting used to the smaller text I would NEVER go back to a smaller screen resolution, you can do so much more when you can fit more on the screen.
