Hello everyone,
I have an older Dell XPS 630 which I recently updated with two GTX 560Ti's; I realize the PC is closer to the scrap pile than the upgrade list but I got the two cards for a song. Anyway, I have an issue where the PC is just shutting down about a minute into almost any modern game (Crysis 2 or 3, Skyrim, Dishonored) and I can't seem to figure out what is happening. I've updated the Mobo firmware, have a good 750W PSU, have tried different version of Nvidia drivers, re-seated everything, etc... My real question is if there is any way I can run some kind of diagnostics to log what might be happening at the time of shutdown; not a thing shows up in any log that I know about. It certainly seems power-oriented with the sudden shutdown but I really don't know. I can run one card with SLI disabled (games at much lower settings) and it does not happen. Any ideas (besides just building a new system) would be greatly appreciated.
