upgrading memory from 8-16 gb

I am going to upgrade my ram from 8-16gb and from 1600-1866, ounce I install the new sticks how do i change the speed settings in my bios i am using an asus z77 pron mobo

The best performance increase I've seen in reviews is minimal at best and only in certain games. Faster ram in Intel I5=-3570's also helps very little. Intel did a great job with their onboard cache and external memory speed helps very little, which is the whole idea behind the internal cache. Also these Intel's don't like overclocking the ram at all. Many times the cannot tolerate hardly any...

My specs are in my profile. hover over where my avatar is i just bought another video card and upgraded to SSD, so i figured id upgrade the ram as well

So u do not think it is worth it at this point? even going from 8- 16gb

As you can see in this review, faster RAM makes no noticeable difference for the most part, other areas such as a faster graphics card will make for more difference.
