I bought a gaming system and it came with
ADATA Premier Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model AD3U1333W8G9-2
(nothing is wrong with it is work fine, however there is no heatsink on them)
I want to upgrade to
CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMD16GX3M2A1600C9
both have timings of 9-9-9-24
Motherboard says it will work if I have a ivy bridge 22nm, which I do I have a Intel Gen3 3770
So should I go for it or is the performance gain going to be a wash and just a cosmetic upgrade to say the least?
