Supported RAMs in intel D945GCNL motherboard

I have a RAM (Transcend 1G DDR2 667 DIMM 5-5-5) already installed in my motherboard. I want to buy a new 1GB RAM (to make total of 2GB). What are the specifications of the RAM should I buy so that computer functions smoothly?. Please tell me the details of the RAMs that are supported in my motherboard. My motherboard is intel D945GCNL.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00 GHz
System type: 64-bit operating system.

intel will have a supported memory list...that said it frequently incomplete. almost any ddr2 667 stick should work. its best to get a matching set of the same transcend you have.

i am unable to understand what is DIMM capacity and what is SDRAM density...please tell me which one is required for my motherboard.

i would just replace you existing dimm as ram is cheap...31 dollars for 2 gb. 1gb x2
that one will work for you.
