So I have a 1TB Seagate hard drive that I want to store just about everything I have. I want the SSD to simply run windows and a few specific games. But everything I install or save goes directly onto the SSD, which is a huge pain to transfer everything over. Is there a way to set the 1TB as the drive that everything automatically saves to?

Thanks in advance

Solution
I want the SSD to simply run windows....

Everything in Windows default saves to the root drive unless you chnage the default behavior. Two choices:

1. Manually change the location with each install
2. Change the default behavior of installs and user files

Let's take a look at saving first. What are you saving? Are they data files of some sort? Are you clicking on "save" or "save as". Simply clicking on "save" will save the data to the C: drive. Clicking on "save as" will let you choose where to save the files.

Next up is autosave. What is being saved automatically? Which software applications?
