So first time builder, I was too excited when I recieved some of my stuff that I couldn't wait and had to open my mobo box.. I ended up forgeting some of the basic rules such as do not hadle it from the bottom.. Well Before even opening the box I did touch my case several times to ensure I was grounded. When I was putting the mobo back in its bag I slightly touched some of the metal parts on the bottom, I was also standing on carpet, and having heard from several people to not handle Pc components while standind on carpet that made me think that I might have fried my board. I know this might be nothing, but just to make sure everything will be ok, I'd like to hear your guys opnions! Thanks

im pretty sure you will be ok, unless you are one of those people that has seriously bad luck! pc components are actually tougher than you think, you will be surprised at the amount of force need to put in some components, and power cables
