Install SSD and add Windows 8 with product key, but no disc

I just purchased the Samsung SSD 840, and I want to install Windows 8 (which I purchased with a digital download).

I installed the SSD and the computer recognizes it, but the bios boot options does not. That is my first problem. How do I get the boot configuration to recognize my SSD as well as my HDD.

My second problem is that I need to find a way to install windows 8 without the disc. I purchased Windows 8 through my college, and want to load it straight onto my SSD, and I want to keep Windows 7 on my HDD without having to clone or get the disc.

I really appreciate that. Just an update. I think I figured out how to get the SSD to show up. The only flash drives I have available are 2 4GB's. I hope I can make those work or I will have to go get a new one.

How old is your motherboard? Do you have the AHCI or IDE option checked? You may have to select one or the other for the OS for it to install properly. I typically remove the HDD and just install the OS first on the SSD. Then I introduce the HDD drive after the OS has been installed on the SSD. Typically diskmgmt.msc will relocate the disk but that is typically unnecessary.

I have a 2 year old Asus P6T SE motherboard. Before adding the SSD, I had 2 hitachi 1TB HDDs in RAID setup. I went ahead and installed windows 8, and boot configuration still does not read the SSD, and I'm unable to locate it on disk management options either.
