Hi Friends I searched on the internet and found that guys having same system specifications as me are overclocking there PC's and enjoying games so I too done this My System Specifications are

AMD A8 3550 @ 2.9Ghz
IGP AMD Radeon 6550D, 512 MB
Corsair 1333Mhz 4 GB Ddr3 Ram
Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit
1 TB WD Green HD

First I ran AMD Overdrive and selected Auto tune to check the maximum frequency till which it can go I figured out it was 3.6Ghz
Then I went to BIOS and unfortunately there was no option of increasing Base Clock so I Increased multiplier to 36x and voltage to 1.385 V.
now it is running @ 3.6Ghz I performed stability test ran games performance was Improved and it also scored more in benchmark test.

Then I again went to BIOS and changed RAM timing from auto to manual and selected 1600Mhz for to be at safer side I didn't increased it to 1866Mhz shall I check it out also ? I then gone to Benchmark test for 1600Mhz and RAM score was better then before and games were running more smoother.

Now In BIOS there is also option for IGP clock I increased it to 733Mhz but in the Status in Overdrive it clock didn't increased at all it is running around at 667Mhz.

I figured out that somehow If I will be able to increase the clock of IGP it will help me to gain more better performance.

OC RAM and CPU has helped me too much and at this cheaper price APU is working nicely for me.

Now I need guys your help regarding following questions:
1. Should I also try RAM to 1866Mhz is there any risk?
2. May I update my Bios is there any chance it will contain an option for Base clock increase I am using BIOSTAR A55 ML+ Motherboard it is working very nice for me actually for more then 11 Months very stable I have found it.
3. How can I increase the frequency of IGP ie, AMD Radeon 6550D.
4. Is there any effect of OC on long life of any component I only run it at 3600Mhz if I am playing games or doing complex Video Rendering.

It will be my pleasure I will get little help from you guys out there.
Thank you very much for reading
Have a pleasant day :) !

Yep, exactly.

And.. holy cow, APUs run with a LOT of voltage in them. That would fry most chips. Don't worry about it, then, your voltage is fine.
Get your ram running as fast as you can - it lets the graphics run faster.

Bios updates are risky, don't do it for something as silly as that - there IS no such thing as a "base" clock increase option - your base clock is your frequency times your multiplier.

There oughtta be an option to overclock the IGP in your bios.

There is an issue of longevity of components from an overclock like yours, only because you have your voltage WAY high. Try to get it under 1.3v - you're running with WAY TOO MUCH VCORE.

Okay Mate thanks for your help so you wan to say that I increase the RAM frequency and set that frequency vale in IGP overclocking option right?
And mate 1.375 V is the stock voltage of AMD A8 APU so do I really go down to 1.3 V ? okay I will set it to 1.375V

Thanks man best solution and now I overclocked My Corsair Value select 4 Gb 1333 RAM to 1866Mhz now it is running at 933Mhz and so is my graphic card but now the problem is , Is it okay for the RAM health to go at 1866Mhz which was at stock of 1333Mhz ? I ran Memtest86+ and figured out that it passed with no errors shall I continue to use it. In GTAIV now I am getting big FPS boost of 20 FPS btw.

Did you run memtest the proper way - i.e. four or more instances overnight?

If you do that and still get no errors, then you're fine as long as you didn't have to increase the voltage.

Okay in Memtest I selected all test and it run around for 40 Minutes and showed Pass 1 and zero errors test was still running but down was return It has been passed you can exit. By more then four instances did you mean the overall 100 % should be go 4 times and if everything went fine then it should show Pass 4 right? Thanks for Help man

Really? It pop ups a dialog box ? I downloaded it mounted on RW DVD and then when booted it, it starts testing automatically even Settings about RAM was not proper it was showing RAM frequency 400MHz for 1866Mhz which should be 933Mhz even CAS timings were lower. Is this is normal? I just booted it, it starts testing and I got Pass 4 with no errors so I closed it and now I am running at 1866Mhz it is running smoothly:)

Ahh, you're running from bootable media, not inside of windows. I can't account for the odd display, but if you've got it running stably, then by all means, go with it.
