I am building a PC that's also suited for gaming, primarly Battlefield so my question is:
What crd performs better on Battlefield games?
The GTX660 or the HD7870?

Go with the Radeon HD 7870 XT (Tahiti LE) which performs really close to radeon HD 7950. Take a look at the performance of HD7870 Tahiti LE at : http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Club_3D/HD_7870_jokerCard_Tahiti_LE/

A fully overclocked performance of HD7870XT can match the stock HD7970 (925mhz version) performance !!

Also even plain vanilla non XT HD7870 equals to a GTX660Ti in performance not lower end GTX660..................

I'm looking at this one right now: Club3D Radeon HD 7870 XT JokerCard (Tahiti LE)
Is that what you mean?
