PCI or Motherboard Not working

I have tried multiple configurations with these cards using multiple motherboards and cards -- doing a fresh install of windows 7 and I can't figure out what I'm missing...

Here is my configuration:
Gigabyte H61NUSB3
4gb RAM Kingston DDR3
Intel i3 2200
Avermedia HD DVR - with latest drivers from the website

Fresh install of windows 7.

Several issues
1) Works fine -- and then after a random amount of time that can range from a minute to 24 hours -- it says "No Signal" -- even though nothing has changed

2) Works fine -- and then says "can't find avermedia tv tuner cards"

3) Does not recognize card from minute one

Of note -- the computer never recognizes the 'new hardware'

I am looking for some assistance. At this point, I have 20 systems and have tried exchanging parts all around. The only thought that I have right now is that the motherboard is not compatible with the AverTV HD DVR. Is this possible?

I checked the advanced power settings and where it says "PCI Express" I changed different configurations with no change in results.

I looked at the bios and can't find anything there relevant to PCI - except where it references using the PCI Express as a primary display which I said "never"

The weird part is the inconsistencies...

I am using the latest drivers from the Avermedia website and checked with the bios and drivers for gigabyte -- and everything is up to date.

I also tried loading windows 7 without the card in -- and then adding the card after (as opposed to during the original OS install)

Any ideas? Anything I haven't tried?

Is it really possible that AverMedia and Gigabyte don't like each other?

Some PCI-E cards have been known to have problems with the CPU(onboard controller) pci-e lanes. I would have guess that it would all be fixed by now.

To test the slot, install a basic video card and run it for a while and see how it holds up.

That still does not explain the video going out. I almost wonder if the cpu is having issues. It is connected to all problem devices.

Are you suggesting that changing out the chip? That is one thing that I didn't try.
I'm building 20 of these things -- and was using a Zotac motherboard -- but wanted to try something that saved about $50 per system.

Yes - the going out issue is a problem. That means to me that there is some driver conflict -- but inconsistency is always hard to resolve.

Another addition to scenarios 1-3 is the latest 4) It keeps searching for a signal -- and then just goes black -- without saying "no signal"

Unfortunately, avermedia support is non-existent and the online forums are dedicated to gaming. I posted in it and it was deleted by someone at avermedia.

Any other ideas would be helpful.
Do you think trying another motherboard is in order?

It seems like when I go to this website, it automatically submits. No idea why...

There is no actual video card -- just on-board video.

And that works without issue. I never lose the screen - just the avermedia playback / tv pass through

I just tried a completely new system. New motherboard. New hard drive. New installation. New Avermedia card. New Processor.

SAME Result. It says "no signal" -- after about 2 hours of playing fine.
