USB 3.0 problem

My laptop only has USB 2.0 ports. Yesterday, i bought a 3.0 pen drive. The device shows itself in Devices and Printers options in control panel, but it doesn't appear in My Computer......... Please help me out.

some usb ports don't like storage drives (least on my laptop...i can only use two of my four for storage)...i assume you have swapped it out to the other ports? also there may be a driver missing on you pc...try searching your pen drive and see if you can find some drivers (though in reality they should be there already).

Alright try this if it works:

Go to control pannel than administrative tools than computer management than storage than disk management

See if theres your flash drive once you locate it than format etc so it become usable/appear in my computer.
