Ok i read your other thread and assume you have gpu-z telling you gpu temps. 60-70 is to high, what other programs have you installed on this hp, it may be better to just rma it to HP if you can.

If not then start with giving me the core speed and memory speed from gpuz. Also download core temp and give us a reading.

Is your heat sink loose on the cpu ? Make sure the lock lever is tight. Your igfx is going to go poof real quick at the temp. Call HP

The only other thing i can tell you is if you drop in a discrete card like a 7750 it will be way faster and have the added benefit of shutting down the igfx but you should not have to go through this with a system new from Christmas.

I I gree about having issues with this computer and its new. but Hp is giving me a hassel and acting like I did something to the computer so I thought I might go ahead and do some upgrading if this computer if wont handle TS3 the way it is. I know i need a better card. so u think the 7770 would be a good choice? the fan is only 300w and thought about a bigger fan or just adding another one what do u think?

I think it can handle a 7770 but you might want to go with a 7750 just to be safe. HP CS is notorious for blaming the user especially on laptops. really put your foot down and demand they make it right. Then worst thing they can say is no and that is no worse than wear you are now. In the long run you will be much happier with a discrete.

a7750 will rip through sims 3 like butter as should your 7660d heck even my 6550d has no problem. Trinity has some heat issues on the gpu side, you are not the first to be having problems. I still say fight with hp. The minute you put a 7750 in the system hp will void any warranty you may still have.
