I have a vga and a hdmi port it is a pavilion dv7-3186cl

it will list all 3 moniters but when I try to check the one that says number 3 it say this gpu supports 2 diplays I do not know how to switch outputs with a hotkey I am very green at this

No, you cannot replace the GPU in that model of laptop, its part of the motherboard. The only laptops where you can replace the GPU are the really high end gaming laptops.
