this baby packs a punch at this price i5-3350p with the $15 promo. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116782&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

But for an i5 your looking at about a price bracket of 165-219. which is not much of a difference. If most ppl are looking for an if on budget they go with a i5-3470 at roughly 190.00 but then for like 30 dollars more you can get a 3570k.

Really depends. If you manage to overclock a 3570K to an obscene level then it is a clear winner.

Out of the box, the 3570K is bottom of the value pile because you pay extra for that facility. The rest are generally on a sliding scale, with the cheapest being the best value, more or less.

If you are just looking at out-of-the-box performance, then you can make a case for the 3350P or 3450/3470 as the best bang for buck (3350P is cheapest, but 3450/3470 have a few small advantages which can make them worth the small amount of extra money).
