i have a eMAchines EL1331G and want to buy it AMD Athlon X2 5050e processor to make it faster i was wondering if it would be compatible and i be able to install it.

Phenom II's have too much wattage to work on your emachines motherboard. About 95w is the limit for any cpus on your motherboard.
