Hello!

I 'd like to buy a new notebook but can't decide between these two low class: Dell Inspiron 3521 i3-3227U and Turbo-X HU II i523-432.

They have both a 15.6' LCD screen and cost about the same (just a 30$ difference).

Just to mention, Turbo-x is a brandname launched by a
greek electronics store which assembles laptop parts.

Now, their specifications have the following differences:

Dell Inspiron: Intel Core i3 3227U Processor (3M Cache up to 1.90 GHz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000

Turbo-X: Intel Core i5 2430M (2.4 GHz)
Intel HD Graphics 3000

They have the same RAM memory (4 GB DDR3) and come with Windows 8 64-bit. The rest of their specs are just as much the same.

So, the main question is which processor is better ( given that Core i3 3x is newer than Core i5 2x) , since Intel HD Graphics 4000 is probably a better graphics card than Intel HD Graphics 3000.
Apart from that, I am highly concerned about the doubted quality of the case and plastic parts of Turbo-x , compared to Dell's reliability.

I would appreciate your opinions on these!
If anyone has an experience with Dell Inspiron 3521 please let me know.

The i5 2x is better cpu-wise as it has a higher base clock and has turbo. The i3 3x will be slower.

GPU wise the hd 4000 is faster than the hd 3000 by about 40%. However we are comparing a 35 watt 2x and a 17 watt 3x. The ULV cpu's (especially i3) will game at lower clocks vs the SV i5. I would expect maybe 20% difference in gpu power between the two because of this. I've never heard of turbo-x so I can't judge their reliability. I do know that dell is less than stellar in the reliability department.
