Fix old motherboard. or buy new Haswell board?

Hello all, I have been wondering what I should do for a "new" computer build. Currently I have a few parts from an old computer and I was was wondering if I should build around these for the near future, or should I simply wait until the new Haswell chips/boards. Right now I have an i7 920 (stock), an ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 and an old 5770. The only concern is that the motherboard needs to be sent in for repairs. I have been using a laptop for the last few years but would really like to get back into using a desktop. Thank you in advance!

New build. Probably not worth it to fix the mobo. The video card needs to be replaced anyways, can't play some games today on high settings. The i7 is still ok, but not that great

Sell your Old CPU on ebay (they still fetch a bit) and sell your 5770, and build a new rig
