Alright here is my question. Does anyone know if there is a bracket that would allow for a intel water block to be mounted on a amd motherboard purely for aesthetic reasons. Ive got a XPS raystorm on a asus sabertooth 990fx R2.0, and well frankly the amd mount its hideous. Im wondering if a bracket exists that would allow for the motherboard mounts to be used to support brackets that would host the intel square shaped mounts.

Far as I know, no.
AMD chips are far larger than Intel chips and AMD mobo's have integrated backplates, so chances are if you were to overlay the Intel mounting holes on an AMD board you would be obstructing some part of the socket.

You could cut the AMD bracket to resemble a larger Intel one, a dremel would work I think. As long as the mounting holes themselves are fine there shouldn't be an issue.

I don't know of any bracket that would allow that, and none on your water block manufacturer's website. What I did find is the amd version of the raystorm.

I don't know if the two products cost the same but maybe you can contact them for a switch out. Most companies who value their customers would do this.

Well what im looking for is a bracket that can be fixes around the cpu port and be fastened down with the standard amd rectangle configuration but provide screw holes where a intel bracket could be fasted and not obstruct the contact with the cpu its self.

That would be tricky to pull off. You want to use an intel mounting bracket on an amd mobo right? I think you gonna have to get that fab'd. You might have to design the bracket yourself. There a plenty of 3d printing services that can make real objects out of cad files.

here is one: http://www.shapeways.com/

Although keep your design light and minimal, 3d printing is expensive.
