i need to replace my old motherboard
but i want to use the same components i have
cpu AMD Phenom™ X4 9950
nvidia 9800 gt

which mother board should i go for..
i am a average gamer and i would like to use ddr3 ram

The Phenom X4 9950 is an AM2+ cpu, and according to the Wikipedia page for AM2+:

AMD confirmed that there is an upgrade path from Socket AM2+ to AM3:

AM3 processors work on AM2+ motherboards due to the presence of both the DDR2 and DDR3 memory controllers on the processor
AM2+ processors do not work on AM3 motherboards due to the processor's lack of a DDR3 memory controller

Thus to use DDR3 ram, I think you'll need a new cpu in addition to the motherboard.

There are two different models of the AMD Phenom X4 9950:
CPU part numbers
HD995ZXAJ4BGH – 125 Watt TDP
HD995ZFAJ4BGH – 140 Watt TDP

These are 2008 models and the 140 Watt TDP (Thermal Design Power) is the one that is not supported on this motherboard. They both have a Integrated dual-channel 144-bit DDR2 SDRAM Memory controller, no DDR 3.

Newegg lists a single AM2 motherboard available new.

then i'll have to stick to the good old ddr2 then..thanx

my cpu is
amd phenom HD995ZXAJ4BGH
and i think it is a 125 watts
and i would prefer the motherboard to have usb3.0 support
