Hi all,

I have been getting a very low physics score on 3DM11 tests. There is an inconsistent frame rate with many stutters upon viewing the test. If there is any way to help me fix this problem, that would be greatly appreciated.

Well, in rendering your card may be sufficient, but the physics calculations are handled mostly by your GPU...some floating point physics calculations are handled by the CPU, but generally, I think you need more Horsepower for your GPU to get the scores you're looking for in the benchmark. The newest GPU's run physics calculations far better than those from even 2 years ago.

Look at something like a 7770 or better Radeon HD card and see if your scores don't come up. You can get a GHz edition 7770 right now for about $100 USD.

One problem, I am getting noticeable frame sputters in every game, no matter what setting. For example, Minecraft will run at 140 FPS, but it will drop to 5 then go right back up. This issue has only been recent, my scores used to be much higher. What I am wondering is if a program is making my frame rate drop in every game.
