I just installed a new motherboard (an ITX) and I open speccy to see my PNY 1600mhz RAM running at 667mhz? What can I do to tune it back up to 1600? Thank you for all of your contributions

I'm sure my RAM is 1600mhz and I'm sure my motherboard can support 1600mhz

Your RAM isn't 1600 MHz, it's 1600 MT/s. Since we're talking Double Data Rate, that's equivalent to an 800 MHz clock.

It's very common for the BIOS/UEFI to default 1600 MT/s RAM to 1333 MT/s. Simply go in there and select the XMP profile for 1600 MT/s.
