Not getting 5.1 audio output on windows 8 ?

I use creative 5.1 vx sound card with creative speakers and only get 2 speakers to work on MP3 but 5.1 channel movies work well on all the speakers btw i use VLC mp 
Have you tried installing your sound card drivers? also you need to enable surround sound in VLC media player in the settings.

the problem is only with windows 8 coz windows 7 works perfectly on 5.1 mp3 audio & also i am using support drivers and did all those setting on link you posted but didnt worked
