Fx-8120 Simple Overclock help?!

I Want to overclock my stock Fx-8120 to 3.4ghz, but when i did it, i noticed that the cpu voltage was really high at 1.4125v and i'm not sure it should be that high for such a small overclock. Just worried that it may burn out my CPU, can anyone suggest a more suitable cpu voltage or the stock one? Thank you :bounce:

  1. The easiest way to overclock the FX-8120 is to just raise the multiplier because it is a unlocked CPU you can hit 4GHz with just the multiplier. I however would not overclock much on the stock heatsink/fan.

I thought so, having trouble finding the stock voltages :na:
  3. There probably a default option on the motherboard Bios??
