It always and only depends do you have drivers for your components for 64bit system. Basically you can.

Your CPU supports x64 version windows, but there are no official x64 version drivers for your model. So only option would be to try install windows 7 x64 and let windows to install drivers for it. Chispet, GPU, sound, lan, Wlan should not create you any trouble. What could make you trouble are bluetooth, modem and card reader but that's only wild guess because MSI is only supplying 32 bit drivers.
