well i have upgraded my laptop from windows 7 to 8 and ever since that, whenever(on speed mode ) i want to play a game such as Simcity or etc, i get this error--> video_tdr failure nvlddmkm.sys and i tried to downgrade my Nvidia graphic, it worked but then after a while it gives me a same error or give me an error related to the card graphic!! does any1 know how to solve this problem ?
btw this is my laptop's system:
SVS15116GG

Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM Processor 2.10 GHz
Genuine Windows® 8 Professional 64bit
HDD: 750 GB (Serial ATA, 5400 rpm)
Powerful discrete graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640M LE 2 GB

The sony support site will have windows 8 drivers for the graphics as well as all the other components for your laptop.
In particular, look for the chipset drivers; I think there is one that supports the keyboard slow/fast switch.
Update them all if anything looks remotely applicable.

If that fails, look at the current graphics drivers from Nvidia. They might have beta drivers you could try.
