Hello,
I've recently ordered some new components for a gaming rig I'm going to put together:

Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Intel i7-3930k
Corsair Vengeance 16gb (4x4) 2133MHz
2 x EVGA Geforce GTX 680 FTW+ 4gb
Corsair H80i Hydro Series CPU Cooler
SAMSUNG 840 PRO 256GB 2.5 SATA III SINGLE
Corsair CMPSU-1200AX 1200-Watt Power Supply
NZXT Phantom 820 Full Tower Chassis Matte Black

Eventually, I'm going to add a water cooling system

I would like to compliment this system with 3 x 30 inch"ish" displays. My budget is somewhere in the neighborhood of $200-$400 per display.

I would love some suggestions as to brands, good deals, small bevels, if I can just use 1080p TVs or if I should stick to a strait monitor.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

With your budget, I would not scrimp on your monitor/s.
If you definitely have triple monitor games in mind, then you will be limited to 1080P monitors with your budget.
I strongly suggest you filter by looking only at IPS monitors with a 178/178 viewing angle.
Lesser viewing angles require you to look at the monitors straight on, and will make the side panels look washed out
Here is one example for 1080P in 27" size: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176425

Another option would be to pay a bunch for a 30" 2560 x 1600 monitor like this $1100 dell 30"

There are 2560 x 1440 27" monitors that are in between price @700 range like this dell: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824260111

Another interesting option is to look for yamakazi or catleap monitors on e-bay. They are repurposed apple cinema panels from Korea. They come at about half the price of their us counterparts. Search the forums for yow people have fared with them, and you will see very good recommendations.

If you're looking for the best 3D monitor that will also play great in 2D, then you should choose between the BenQ XL2420T and the ASUS VG278H. Both incorporate nVidia's 3D Vision 2 with 3D LightBoost which greatly improves the overall 3D experience.

While the BenQ doesn't disappoint as far as specifications with a 2ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate, low input lag, and a great picture, The XL2420T comes with a lot of other features built-in to this monitor specifically for gamers including FPS Mode, RTS Mode, Intuitive OSD, S. Switch;Height Adjustment, and Game Mode Loader.

If you just want this monitor for the 2D technology, then you might want to consider its predecessor, XL2410T, which is significantly cheaper and has many of the same features as the XL2420T, but has nVidia 3D Vision rather than 3D Vision 2.There are many advantages, beyond 3D, that come with having a 120Hz monitor. Refresh rate reflects the amount of times in a second that your monitor draws data. And since 120Hz monitors draw data twice as fast as standard monitors you get extremely crisp details that are smoothly rendered and lifelike. 120 Hz monitors are also more responsive. :sol: If your just looking for three good gaming monitors i recommend you look here http://www.squidoo.com/best-nvidia-surround-monitors
