Solution
CPU+Cooler:
i5 3570k + 212evo
- i5's 4core/4threads should be enough for your rendering needs

GPU:
HD7970 (or atleast HD7770) or GTX670

Storage: HDD+SSD
+1

RAM:
- Go for the cheapest ddr3 1600 (2x4Gb)8Gb RAM that you can find

ODD:
+1

PSU: Overkill!!
you might want to get the cheapest 550W-650W 80+Bronze PSU that's available
(preferrably SeaSonic,FSP)

Case: Out of Stock
- NZXT H2 Classic Silent (Black) check this out, it's an equal alternative for fractal incase it wont be available soon

You do NOT need an i7 for gaming. Go down to an i5-3570k and buy a better graphics card for gaming like a HD 7970 or GTX 670 with the money you save. An i5 will be almost literally identical to an i7, as an i7 is better suited to rendering or video editing rigs. If you do plan to do a lot of editing, you will like the i7, though. (I do realize that you said you will be doing some editing, and an i5 will still do just fine in that situation.)

You did a nice job, though, although you may be able to do a bit better for the money. I need someone else that has some time to give you some help on that. Good luck!
