Hi guys i just wanna ask you if my system good enough to be called a gaming rig.

CPU: Intel Core i5-650 3.2Ghz OC to 3.8Ghz (Stock heat sink and fan from Intel)
MotherBoard: ASUS P7H55/USB3
RAM: 4Gb DDR3 Kingston -- 2x2Gb
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 550 Ti OC
Powersupply: Gigabyte Superb 460W
CD-Rom: Liteon Multi DVD Rewriter
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB
Case: Not a branded one but it has custom coolers front and back and right side panel costed about $50
Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster B1930 18"5
Keyboard: Logitech WAVE
Mice: Razer DeathAdder 3500 DPI

Thanks in advance for the feedbacks ^,^ :>

afaik, h55 chipset doesn't allow cpu overclocking. it's intel's media series chipset. no oc, not much need for 3rd party cooler.

@OP: i hope you're not about to buy this pc.

I've been using it for gaming for about 2 weeks now crysis 2 (directx11) extreme settings 1366 x 768 which is my screen resolution, max payne 3 maxxed settings, devil may cry 5 maxxed settings, need for speed MW 2012 maxxed settings, hitman absolution not maxxed but almost, torchlight 2 maxxed. This is my 2nd desktop that i've built that replaced my pentium 4 which i used for over 6 years. Im new in building GAMING systems and im also new in overclocking and stuff :)

Oh by the way, the core temp of my i5-650 @3.8Ghz is 45 Degrees Cels @ Idle and reaching like 65-68 when playing games.
Should i stick to my Stock fans and heat sink on my cpu?

Thank you guys for the Feedbacks I appreciate it ty

You have a better idea if your pc is a decent gamer than we.
The i5-650 runs a bit hotter than the newer 22nm chips, so a bit of heat is to be expected.
Check the mounting of your cpu cooler.
With the power off and disconnected, try to wiggle the cooler. If it moves at all, you probably need to remount it.
Look at the back of the motherboard to verify that all 4 pushpins are through the motherboard and locked.

If you need to remount, clean off old paste with alcohol and a paper coffee filter.
Reapply a small drop of new paste like as5. The key to a good mount is to push down on diagonal pairs of pushpins simultaneously.

But, do not worry too much. A cpu can stand a lot of heat, and will just slow down or shut off if the temperature gets too high.
