My thoughts:

1. A build in that price range deserves a ssd. 120gb will hold the os, and a few games.
2. Photoshop can use lots of ram to improve performance, buy a 16gb kit of 2 x 8gb. DDR3 1.5v low profile 1600 ram is good.
3. Maximus gene will add little to your performance. Any Z77 based motherboard will do the job at half the price.
4. Most cases will do the job. Here is one with a red/black theme:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811233114
Cases are a personal thing. Pick one with a visual appeal to you.
Lian li makes some red cases in anodized aluminum which are stunning. They have been mostly discontinued. Here is one:

1. What i was just thinking :D
2. Thanks for reminding me, was just doing standard procedure when i chose an 8GB kit, can you recommend a decent 16GB kit?
3. I chose the Maximus as it was red and black :D
4. I chose the Thermaltake Element S case as i liked the look of the red accent, as it was a slight accent and not too much, thanks for posting the 2 cases but they are too much for me :(

Thanks for your contribution ! :D
