unable to access bios on asus z77 mother board

i am trying to install a new ssd to install windows on and have a hdd drive for everytng else i installed the new drive and booted my computer wih the wndows 7 install dvd and installed it on mynew drive. i then attached the hdd again adn tried to boot my computer and access bios to set the boot order butcannot get to bios i hit DEL and abalck screen pops up and i hae options to run in safe mode and such but do not se bios anywher... please help

You have gone to far if you are at the option to set boot order. The BIOS load is in the first 1-4 secs depending on the setting in the bios. Sometimes you have to hit the appropriate key before the screen even detects the video card.

yea it only give a second ounce iturnmy omputer befor windows pops ups so wht do i hit to get to bios

as soon as you press the power button start pressing the delete key repeatedly until the bios comes up. usually F2 works also.

Asus uses the delete key.

th only thing that pops up is windows boot manager

Does the hdd also have a windows install on it? I would disconnect the hdd and then get into the bios and change the boot order. Then reconnect

yea they both have window installed . when i go into bios i only see the hdd and the cd rom drive n ssd?

Pull the hdd and leave the ssd in.
Power on and go into bios.
Select the current SSD as the boot drive and set all others to none.
Reconnect hdd and you should be good.
