I want to recover my xp desktop, to speed things up, and want to use my old notebook as an external hard drive, can I connect via a cable? which one do I need, in laymans terms please, I know I can do it via the wireless router, that was windows 7 my new desk top to new laptop but last time I tried that it told me it would possibly take a whole day! it was quicker to send to a stick and reload!
