But you want to make sure to uninstall your on board graphics drivers before plugging into your video card. Then once the computer is rebooted install your graphics card drivers. ( this is assuming that you are still working off your integrated graphics drivers.) which i am assuming you might be.

I have a GTX 670 and an Asrock MB. I game on my main monitor plugged into the 670. My second monitor is plugged into the MB, powered by my i5-3570K's HD graphics 4000 engine - I don't use the second monitor when gaming, except maybe to monitor the processor or video card. My thought is that I don't want the second monitor taking resources from my GTX 670. When working on documents and general computing/internet, it is very useful to have the second monitor. I can drag windows from one monitor to the other and even span across both when I want to. When not gaming and using both monitors, they both display everything with great quality.

Looks like your card slipped loose. Did you take it out, re-seat it in the slot, and make sure its power connectors are plugged in correctly? If that doesn't allow it to be detected, I can't help you. Could be a problem with your board, or the video card. I don't know your motherboard -- could possibly be a setting is wrong in the bios? Maybe reinstall the nVidia drivers from your MB's driver CD? When I'm lost on an issue like this, I put the card in another computer to see if it works there. Testing by trial and error.
