I have a question (duh).

Console: PSP 1000 version 6.60, with 6.60 PRO-C firmware.

I was wondering if it is better to get two MicroSD or MicroSDHC and an adapter to use as memory for my psp or to just get a straight up MS Pro Duo?

I was looking at an adapter like:" Dual MicroSD MicroSDHC to MS PRO DUO Adapter."

and I wasn't totally sure about the MicroSD(and MicroSDHC), since I'm still kind of new to all of their specifications.

The alternative is getting something like: "exar Platinum II 32GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Flash Memory Card"

I would prefer the absolute maximum of storage, with 32GB being the absolute minimum and the highest price to be about $40 plus (obviously) something that is of a good quality and is reliable.

If you guys could help me out, it would be amazing!

Hey there,

I would recommend you get the dual micro sd adapter and insert your own microSDs because:
1)It's much more cheaper than buying the ms pro duos, and
2)There more widely available, so your bound to find a good deal on microSDs, whereas ms pro duos are hardly ever on sale.

Also, a micro sd would be more economical as you find slots for them in the majority of all mobile devices, so instead of buying another when you no longer need them for your psp you could just take them out and use them. As far as I know, ms pro duos aren't widely used anyway, and imo they'll probably be phased out quite a while before microSDs are.

MicroSD=MicroSDHC, except for the fact that HC stands for high capacity, so because you'll be needing at...

MicroSD=MicroSDHC, except for the fact that HC stands for high capacity, so because you'll be needing at least 32gb it'll be a microSDHC.
Finally, make sure you get at least one/two that have class 6 speed, any slower will slow down loading times (from personal experience).

Have fun :D

EDIT: Do not buy normal SD cards. they WILL NOT fit in the psp.

would it make sense to buy this combination then?:

Adapter:Dual MicroSD MicroSDHC to MS PRO DUO Adapter.

MicorSDHC:G.SKILL 32GB Micro SDHC or SanDisk Mobile Ultra 32GB Micro SDHC

right?

Also, G.SKILL or SanDisk for performance and durability?

Sorry for the late reply.

I don't really think the brand matters, just as long as it's a branded card not a cheap unbranded one off ebay and it is fast.

Yeah those seem like a good pair, I haven't really dealt with any G.Skill products but it does have a good reputation, and sandisk is a well-known high quality storage brand, so you really couldn't go wrong with either of them.

Hope this helps!
